The Trustees of the DVF are delighted to announce its inaugural annual conference, which is being held on Saturday 14th October 2023 at Conway Hall, London.
The conference starts at 10am (registration 9:30am) and features workshops, talks and rituals to celebrate the spiritual and magical heritage of Doreen Valiente and her contribution to Wicca.
We are pleased to announce that two of the greatest authorities on modern witchcraft – Vivianne Crowley and Professor Ronald Hutton – will be Keynote speakers. We are equally delighted to confirm that Philip Heselton, renowned author, and Sarah Kerr, PF President, will also be presenting at the event. Our ritual celebration, inspired by Doreen Valiente, will be led by Rufus Harrington. Doreen’s magical tools will also be on display for all to see and supported by Dr. Marco Romeo-Pitone, DVF Head of Collections.
All are welcome – from those taking their first steps and developing a curiosity about witchcraft as well as initiates, witches and pagans of all traditions. Take this chance to meet, learn, and have a day of magical fun.
Onto the evening entertainment which starts at 7.30pm. Join in the magic of our champagne reception and Masked Halloween Ball. Dance into the night with our live band Inkubus Sukkubus, probably the finest pagan rock band in the world. Dress to impress in your witchy best!!
