photoProfessor Ronald Hutton is the Professor of History at Bristol University, and author of fourteen books on different aspects of his subject, including:
“The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles” (1991)
“The Stations of the Sun: A History of the Ritual Year in Britain” (1996)
“The Triumph of the Moon: A History of Modern Pagan Witchcraft” (1999) and “Blood and Mistletoe: The History of the Druids in Britain” (2009).’ Note Professor Hutton was the first speaker for the Centre For Pagan Studies with a presentation of Triumph of the Moon. He wrote The Funeral of Doreen Valiente – A Report which Twisted Tree made available to us for our 2009 Charge of the Goddess Conference (A Day For Doreen Valiente) in London also spoke at that  conference as the opening speaker and historical authority on  Doreen Valiente – Mother of Modern Witchcraft 1922-1999.
